Think youre gonna have to get someone to do it for you as Satlink gave you a very indepth step by step guide.

Sorry i didn't see this part as i was typing
1. Plug a network cable from your dreambox in to A) your router or B) your laptop/pc.
2. Setup your IP on the Dreambox so that it fits into your network, usually DHCP is enabled on your router. But for pc to Laptop set your IP's 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3.
3. Download A) Filezilla or B) Dreambox Control Center. Ftp into your Dreambox using: Username : root Password: dreambox connect to your dreambox 192.168.1.3
4. Open the txt file in the var/keys/ folder, you will see when your in the ftp.
5. Copy in the new keylist.txt , save and exit.
6. Reboot your Dreambox and Whalla!!

well im out in tallaght just off the m50, i'll have a look at it if ya want like. have things on the weekend though is the problem.
I found this site last night and thought it was really good and helpful
I think everyone should have a look at it if they want to know how to try do with themself
go download "dreambox control centre"
I did't get an english version but worked with in in german
and then check out this website for the tutorial

For all you 500C people this is to get your box back working
Press the YELLOW button on the Dreambox remote.
Select TuxBox Commander.
Press OK on var, then press OK on keys
Press 4 on keylist.txt
Change whatever the hell is on 00 to
N 5401 00 5B7436A3B230CB46 ;ROM11 AU Key Time Fri Apr 4 00:30:29 2008
only 1 digit needs to be edited
Reboot your Dreambox

I hit the Blue button went into tuxbox commander, then went to the box on the right handside and hit Var, then hit Keys and Keylist but there is nothing to change.
Anymore Help ?

Press the button 4 when youve highlighted the keylist.txt
That will put you in edit mode

Satlinksw , did u change au rom10 key manualy ? or was it done by rom10.bin itself ?( don't have dm at the moment to chek it ) can anyone do an EMM log dump? just wondering what did they change

Something weird now, When you go a Channel and hit Ok it doesn't open the Channel, it stays on what you were watching.

There is a language selection button, think it says sprache and deutsche above it, click on it and select english may help a small bit, some of the message windows are still in german though but it will help, between satlinksw input and the info from the link its pretty handy.

Satlinksw, thanks so much for the quick fix. I got a bit worried last night, and I didn't expect to have my box working again this fast! So I don't have to miss my movies this weekend!!

I've got to get the gf's working and don't really want to have to bring it up here to connect to the computer, is this a way of doing it on the box itself?
as the yellow button brings up the time on it??

I am discussing DW2 - Digitalwarldz 2.00 Image.
Flash your box with that image and try again because TuxBox Commander i don't think, is on any other image.

Until the autoroll is fixed you will be using TuxBox Commander to edit the keys EVERY 3-4 DAYS. Get used to it, It's only 1 digit off each time, so you only need to edit 1 digit.
