am in the UK on NTL based near manchester i did a service search using the brute force method

wrong codes m8, you should be entering for the keylist.txt
N 5401 00 F570E3AD3F2DF8F4

I'm not sure about the 5401, i know that that is for ireland. test it.

search the forum. a different image will get you back the channels. or tuxbox commander

i changed the keylist via ftp but when going in via TUbox it shows it as blank??? Does that mean anything

only if your image is DW2 you can safelly factory reset and try from scratch

Hi ya,
I have been following this great post.
But i am stuck...
I have a Dreambox 500C, flashed to DW2 and have factory reset the unit.
Current issue is that i can only watch the normal BBC/ITV etc channels and not any of the others, it is just blank... is that what is suppose to happen and we need to follow whats on this thread to fix it?
I have tried to update the keys.. however, the keylist.txt keeps reseting when i reboot and putting in the C&W keys shown in the previous posts.. i am not sure what service i am running whether its NTeeL or ex C&W.. i am in London UK.
what can i do to save the keylist so i can try them all?

Go into tuxbox commander and turn off the AU. just change a 01 to 00 in this file located in Config files: /var/keys - camd_cfg

The Keylist.txt is reseting to have no entries now.
Any idea?
also, i am running evocam 2.17c, should i be running this or should i turn this off in the blue button section??

So i will check this config file: /var/keys - camd_cfg again
Then put in the whatever key,
then reboot and see what happens??

ok tempory solution for chorus for people with internet.
It is a plugin that you can download from this site
http://rapidshare.com/files/105991287/plugins.rar.html
The dreambox has to be connected to the internet.
first unpack the files you have two files in plugins, ftp to your dreambox and put the files in to /var/tuxbox/plugins
the two files only, no the directory.
set atributes to 755 for both files.
press in gemini the blue button, then plugins then Star/entavio key-file updater. wait done, exit.
the dreampbox have to be connected to the internet and the in the communications setup the dhcp on.
the script download and create a softcam.key for mgcamd and a keylist.txt for evocamd
the script file is free so everybody can modify it.

Thanks Sat...
I have somehow managed to resolve it... i did all the things on this thread and somehow its worked ... the last thing i did was to reset this evocamd 2.12??
What is this evocamd?
What is Chorus? how do i tell what i have?
So in a nut shell, if this doesn't work again? what are my steps?
Factory default? Check Keylist.txt, check camd.cfg for AU and check this evocamd??? or is there an easier way?

Just while we on CAM's
could somebody give a quick summary of teh various CAMS, ie evocam, mgcam newcam etc. Whats the difference
While I have the Gemini image, a lot of people seem to reccomend the Digitalworldz ones, why

Hi another newbie here. Am looking for an image for a Dreambox 600 on Ch0ru$. I thought I had fecked mine up as after changing settings it wouldn't startup. So using dreamup I flashed it with different images and the only one I could get to work was one from dream multimedia. So I know my box is okay, its picking up all channels and clearing RT? 1 & Sp.event$.
Read here somewhere that enigma2 is best but can only find enigma which doesn't work.
I'd be grateful if someone could send me this or other compatible image.

I heard the keys have been changed again since yesterday so i am not using the ones given above for the 8th...anyone with the new keys..also any idea as to if there is a permanent fix for this?

hi do you need to put in the keys with the space between the numbers etc like how you have done on the post i have just used dream up and digitalworldz dream v2.0 for the 500c, i did have another image but that was off too and when i pressed the yellow button all i got was audio select, now with this image i get Tuxbox commander, then i done what was said but never had anything in keylist.txt was blank so i inputted the codes for ntl and then tried ex cw but nothing worked is there a better image or anything else i can do to get this up and running am on the wirral

lads and ladies i just had to set up an account to tell u how greatfull i was,my dreambox froze last week and again yesterday and thanks to you i am back watching tele,u are the salt of the earth and without u all us novices would be f***ed so thanks.i know im greedy but is there any way to get more channels on the dreambox dm 500-s/c/t??
