For Gemini Images and maybe others, You can also get Tuxbox commander if you have your dreambox connected to the web;
Press the blue button,
Press 2 (ADDONS),
Goto Download and install,
Goto Plugins,
Goto Tuxbox Commander and select; and press yes to Install.
Now you will have Tuxbox Commander when you press the yellow button.

NTL hired some new kidz to change the autoroll on dreambox. N*L are espicially in UK constantly changing their keys. So the keylist.txt is what we have to resort to. Using tuxbox commander enter your VM N*L Keys

Anyone have the NTL ireland codes?
Is it possible to covert the Startview codes to work on the Dreambox?
Also is this going to be a standard thing or will someone eventually updates the cams so they can get the codes automatically again?

Hi guys and sat.
mmm, my box has just gone down after working on it last night...
not sure what keys to use now... none seem to be working now..
what should it be?
I think my service is either nteel or ex C&W.. i am based in london uk.
i have just factory default and applied the AU to 0 and try to set the key in the keylist.txt.
any ideas?

many thanks, i now know which service i am. i am ex cw.. however, how does one find out the latest key for this? as i know these may not last long?

He has no internet access can I dit from mine.

HI, I'm new to this and have a Dreambox 500T. I got the box from a guy who set it up for me but now I have no service since last night.
I've followed the instructions for updating the codes (using the CH**us codes provided) but now all I have is RTE1 and Discovery. Are these codes for the 500T?
What other way can I fix this? I'm running evocamd 2.12 - do I need to update this as well as entering the new codes?
Can I connect the box straight to the internet?

I've using the CableUK Sym6952 with DW 2.0, I've got nthel connection and tried using the nthel uk one but still can't seem to get any result. Could anyone tell me where I'm doing it wrong?

If you have Dreambox 500C.. Then maybe try this, its all written here on this tread already.
Factory default as you have DW2.
Go through inital setup
Auto Scan
Using either a telnet session via PC or using the plugin program Tuxbox Commander (yellow button) and edit these two files.
Change camd.cfg file and locate the AU setting to 00
Change the Keylist.txt and put in either the NTeel UK key or the ex C&W key.
Save changes.
Reset box
If it doesn't work, try the other key i.e. if you tried NTeel UK key, try the C&W key and restart the box..
in theory, this process should work as i have spent a few hours doing this as well and with success.

hi all, having a nightmare with my dreambox 500c; been working on it for 4 dyas and still no joy. I was orignally on an Gemini Project image, but I couldnt connect to the box to FTP with either a Cross over cable or a ethernet conection...so upadted to DW 2.0 image; although I could connect VIA the dreamup function?%?
I now have entered he keys as per the forum, changed the AU setting to {00} and rebooted. Still no joy.
I belive that I mightn't have an Emulator, I had one with my gemini image(evocam) but this appears to be missing now. Is there any way i can check for this or if I have any EMU at all??
If I reflash with someone else's DW2.0 image will this solve my problem??
I would greatly apreciate any and all help. Im pulling myhair out at this stage as; I've read through several diferent forums and no help.

help needed with regards new codes. they don't work. ch##us ireland seem to be immediatlly puttng there own code and deleting some of keys i just entered. wats the next step. any help appricated

Push the blue button this should bring up the new Emulator evocamd 2.somethin, click on it and start the evocamd, i haven't altered the AU code and just altered the keys and it worked. if nothing comes up when hitting the blue button there is somethin wrong with the image you have.

i had a similar problem and i just flashed with dw 2 and erased old image and all fine now emu working . still have to manualy imput keys but its worth it
