Heygee good to hear its working (kinda). I cant upload to my box at the minute as my router and NIC are busted. I need you to backup your image using Unversal Dreamup and SHARE it here (upload it to mediafire). Then i will try work out the bugs.
To all the just clogging the thread asking to be spoon fed just read back a few pages and follow the links for info on how to get started.

Chorus ireland Autoroll fix
i have the gemini image and this is what i did
download the nagrarom7, nagrarom10, nagrarom11.
connect your box using ftp.
go in to the var/scce folder
overwrite the nagraroms with the new ones
now download this keylist file

now go to var/keys folder
and upload the keylist that you downloaded.
restart cam
it should now update.and its now on autoroll.
check your tuxbox and go in to the keylist .you will see it has updated.

Hi all,
Was wondering of someone could do me a massive favour and PM me a working image for the DM 500c with the new ROM files. I've followed all the guides and cannot FTP my box for some reason.

hey guys, i know a bloke who fixes dreamboxes.
he's got the new software, i know this cause he did mine.
he charges i think about £10.00, but the box has to be sent to him and postage costs must be covered by the sender.
If anyone is interested let me know and ill give you his details.

hi all for those not got there dreambox 500c working yet please follow the below instructions this will auto roll the keys in so no need to manually enter the keys in everyday. if you cant do this there is a fix now for the dreambox 500c called nagraRom7 fix (bin file) you need to flash this onto your box using dream-up and a nul-modem lead connected to com port1 on your pc if you dont have the software/loader you can email me and i will send you all the stuff with instructions to follow jamie9986@hotmail.co.uk if this does not show here it is again but take out underscores and at means you no what, also its hotmail . co . uk j_a_m_i_e9986

FIRST DOWNLOAD THIS AND INSTALL IT (YOU NEED THIS OR IT WILL NOT WORK)

THEN CLICK DREAMBOX FIXES
THEN CLICK 28 MARCH 2008
THEN CLICK DW Dream 1.6.2 enigma dm5000-c.zip
THIS IS A WINRAR FILE YOU NEED TO OPEN IT AND SAVE IT TO YOUR DESK TOP
NOW USE DREAM UP TO FLASH THE BOX AND SELECT DW Dream 1.6.2 and ypdate the box
once the box has updated do not disconnect it from your pc till about 1min after it says download successful
then run the scan use Bruteforce for uk to scan does not matter what network you are on will scan all
once scanned goto s*y sports1
you will see blank screen
press blue button
choose (2) TuxBox Commander press ok
on left side choose / this symbol press ok
go down to Var about 8 down press ok
screen turns blue
go down to Keys press ok
go down to Keylist.txt AND PRESS 4 (DO NOT PRESS OK )
NOW YOU WILL SEE ALL THE KEYS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE LATEST ROM7 KEY GO BY THE DATE AND TIME (TODAYS DATE/TIME)
IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS N 5C01 01 THEN NUMBERS AND LETTERS
YOU NOW NEED TO LOOK BACK ON YOUR TOOLBAR UNDER LATEST KEYS AND CHOOSE YOUR PROVIDER THE KEY YOU WILL BE CHANGING BEGINS WITH 01
PRESS OK TO HIGHLIGHT THE KEY UP AND CHANGE IT TO THE NEW KEY (ONLY ONE NUMBER NEEDS CHANGING ON CW)
PRESS OK TO STORE
NOW PRESS EXIT
USE LEFT ARROW TO STORE PRESS OK (DO NOT USE RED KEY TO STORE)
PRESS EXIT YOU WILL NOW BE ON THE HALF BLUE/BLACK PAGE WERE Keylist.txt is

YOU WILL BE ON THE BLUE/BLACK SCREEN AND ALREADY ON THE Keylist.txt NOW PRESS 4 (DO NOT PRESS OK) THE TOP LINE SHOULD BE THE LATEST KEY TODATE AND A ROM7 FILE MAKE SURE IT IS STILL THE SAME AS YOU CHANGED IT TO DO THIS PRESS OK TO BRING IT UP AND PRESS OK TO CLOSE IT NOW LOOK AT THE FILE LATEST ROM7 STARTING WITH 00 AND PRESS OK THEN OK TO CLOSE IT (THIS FILE WILL BE THE SAME AS ON THE TOOLBAR UNDER 00 FOR YOUR NETWORK
NOW PRESS EXIT AND RETURN TO THE BLUE/BLACK SCREEN
PRESS EXIT AND WILL AS TO SAVE PRESS LEFT ARROW AND SAVE (DO NOT PRESS RED)
LITTLE MENU AGAIN YOU WILL SEE PRESS EXIT
NOW GOTO S*Y SPORTS1 AND WAIT IN 2MIN WILL AUTO UPDATE AND PICTURE WILL SHOW

i use these settings when i connect my box to my network card.
network card

dreambox

i use bulletproof ftp program on my pc.
ftp 192.169.0.11 port 21 username root password dreambox

hey jay im waitin on a null cable to br dilivered from malpins in dub im not very technical just got the box for the kids to watch disney ect so can u help me out ive a gemini project pic on it ive tried manual and auto scans nothing will work no channels says no epg no transmitter found thanks

lads and girls i just want to say thanks again for your help and support getting our dreambox working again mine is still goin since sun.sometimes u take for granted that we can flash/download ftp ect and i know u might say that if we dont know this stuff maby we shouldnt b on this site but this is the best site for info and u are on the ball when u get the fixes.i would b lost without ur help and my dreambox would b smashed into the tele.keep up the good work lads and remember we rely on u

thought i would send an update and let you know how i got on. i tried to use dreamup to export the image but couldnt get it to work. i think i might need a cable although there is a network option but doesnt connect??? i also tried flashwizard-pro 6.3 and couldnt get that to work either.... sorry mate, i will keep trying for you. but i do have some good new for everyone....
i uploaded the 3 nagrarom files (7, 10 & 11) directly onto the dreambox in var/scce for my second box with enigma (or var/keys for DW_2.0), set the AU in camd_cfg to 02 (although not required) and emptied the Keylist.txt file. once rebooted everything came right back! there is no need for the dw_2.0 img as you only need to replace these files. happy days!

I'm new to this and not very technically minded, so please bear with me! I live in liverpool uk and have the dream multimedia DM 500c. Its connected to my virgin media (telewest as was)cable which runs to one of their boxes in another room. The dreambox went off last week, apparently virgin have scrambled the signals.
I've been looking for a new code and seen advice about pressing the yellow button to start etc. However, the box will not let me do anything, not even let me switch it off. I can hear ITV but can't get a picture.
Can anyone tell me what to do as it won't let me do anything?
