i have dream up and i cannot get the ip address from there either (thanks for the offer though )

any other suggestions anyone ???


p.s. snookster from what i have read the new files should just drag and drop onto dw v 2.0, howevere everyone seems to be saying they do not work on v 2.0 they are all saying re-flash v 1.6.5 if you want to use the new key files.

I used "Dream Up" (part of the collection of programs supplied with DCC) and using the null modem cable I managed to get an ip address this way.
If you don`t have the program let me know I cam send it to you.

chorus rolled but when i went to the keylist there was no line for today to change.
the last au line i have is from last night should i delete a line or something?. tried rebooting but there is still no line for today. anyone else same problem? knew this would hapen b4 da match :(

markarman make sure you have the correct null modem cable.. make sure you get one that is guaranteed to work with the box.
Unfortunately all null modem cables are not equal

Does anyone have the codes for today. I have the Bigmaq tool bar but those codes are dated 18th April and aren't working for today. Any ideas?

i know this cable works i have flashed the box and changed key files etc etc using it... but thanks for the input.

once again for anyone who hasnt seen my problem which is stumping everyone on this and other forums.....

flashed the box with a bad image and cannot connect to it now.

you need the boxes ip address and the box is just showing a blank screen on my tv... so i can't even get into settings to get/edit the boxes ip address.

tried dream up (but need the box ip address)
tried filezilla ( still need the box ip address)
tried hellenberg ( wrong type of box won't communicate)
tried ip config/all no reply.

anyone got any suggestions?

there has to be a way to factory re-set the box and all its settings (including ip address)

or some method of force flashing an image onto the box without the ip address.

or some kind of ip scan to get the ip address of all users/boxes connected to the network...

or something !!!!!!!


heeeeeeeeeelp.........

this is turning out to be a major challenge !!

markaman using dream up with the cable you don`t need an ip address.
Untick the "use network" select a com and click "connect" hopefully when it connects (it can take a while) click "flash" and select your image.
Sorry if I state the obvious.

you need fix for rom 7 10 11` for chor/s or else go to sk/ sports 1 and press yellow/ blue keys will update from there

i flashed my m8s dreambox500c think i balls it up i used dream up an dw 1.6.5 do a scan just pickin up 75 transponders no channel listins no brutee force on can u helpme i cant afford 2 buy new1 can u email me wit help plz millerlfc@blueyonder.co.uk cheers if u can
