Sorry to be a pain guys. appreciate all the thought and effort that goes into replies, but I've lost film 4 and 4+ about a month ago and lost attheraces just yesterday - none of the available advice is giving me any remedy for the problem. Operating D500C on N#L Dublin. Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks.

Probably a signal thing mate i cant get discoevery channel sometime. Buy a booster that will sort it

All recovered, thanks. Didn't realise that they don't automatically recover to their allotted bouquet - they had to be re-added.

Ok Guys. Heres images for both null modem and flash wizard.
This is a fresh image not a backup of my box.
I started from scratch so it is just a working image.
The images have autoroll and have scanning for every service provider.
Once installed it will ask you to do a scan. There is a list of diffrent scan i.e uk, ntl ireland etc
Make sure you scan your area.
Once you have done this. select a channel wait at least 1 minute if the channel does not start press the blue button and press ok on evocam 2.12. This will start the cam. And you will get your channels.
This is a fix for everyone and especially the irish boxes so that you dont have the double channel problem

I have flashed a box using both methods and can tell you now that they work.
Tested myself. So guys get Loading.

I need your help.
I tried to flash the box using FlashWizard PRO but it just froze on me. All I now get is a blank screen. I've unplugged the box and after sometime plugged it in. I get no response from using the remote. How can I put it right?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

hello everyone
i need some help
about half an hour ago all my channels went off ,almost all of them, i did a service scan but still not picking them up, keeps showing service cannot be found
can anyone tell me what wrong

OK notechow re-flash the box using a null modem cable.. see Chris`s tutorial.
Same again 9161lee... re-flash.
cinty your post doesn`t make sense?..

Cinty re-booting does anything come up on the screen?
You should see a boot screen.

Cinty Switch off at mains, switch on and watch the tv screen.
Report back what you see, if anything.

Try flashing again Cinty using GCScotts` image and tutorial.
Maybe something has gone wrong with the original image.

hi guys, new user here, an amature at that, this is for cgscott or anyone else who can help me, im trying to upload the image which chris posted, ive been unsuccessful, i have flashed my box before, with different images, so confident ive done that bit right, ive used dream up via nullmodem, uploaded image, flash erase, loaded image, scanned using brute force, selectedd sly sports, waited upto five mins...had nothing...so pressed blue and evo cam...still nothing...tried this several times over few hours, still nothing, only way i seem to get new keys is via manual input, im gettin tired of doing this thought and would really like to be able to have the autoupdate, can anyone advise me??or the master chris himself even rescue me??

Hi Dazzap
I have been very grateful for all the advice I've been given on this site and quickly acquired (as you seem to have done) the appropriate equipment and skills (?) to keep my dreambox afloat. I have required little assistance since I downloaded the "Bigmaq" toolbar which affords access to all the downloads you will need. Good luck!

hi i just thought i would mention that the bigmaq toolbar images are a bit out of date, the dw images are going down again so does anyone have the latest digital kaos v1 with roms to share?

i'm using dreamup i'v flashed it loads and when i set it up on tv it finds channels but i can only view rte tv3 but none of the rest i'm really gettin feed up with it
