You never knew? Unbricking was the only thing it was actually designed for, people just exploited it to use it to downgrade/change firmware.

Nothing really to help you with, all i can say is yes, you'll need a Pandora Battery. Follow this guide to make the MMS; http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313
You'll either need to get a softmodded battery somehow, hardmod your own battery or get a TOOL battery online.

when u buy the tool battery u have to charge it first, when it is charged put the mms in the psp then the tool battery.

Softmodded - Where you alter the serial number of the battery by running a program on a custom firmware PSP.
Hardmodded - Opening up a battery and removing the 5th leg from a certain chip on the battery's PCB.

Yes, follow the guide i linked to earlier in the thread to put the required files on your memory stick. And yes, it looks like that will do the job fine.

My dad says that if i use the pandoa's battery and mms, then it won't fix the psp itself. it only (i don't know how, and think he must be confused, and rambling about nothing) lets you use your memory stick with the pandora's battery, but cannot use the psp itself....
What I would like to know is, will my psp be fully restored exactly like before????

Why don't you? It's far better than official...
But yes, you can update to "normal" firmware.
