To start off I am completely dumb founded.
I created a pandora battery by cutting pin 5 on a 3.6v 1800mAh battery. Then I successfully modded two different psp's with the pandora battery and magic memory stick. So I know that the battery was created correctly.
Now I'm trying to mod my third psp and the pandora battery will not charge. I have scoured the internet on various ways to get this thing to hold a charge. I have tried plugging in the ac adapter and when the loading screen appears putting the battery in. The only thing I get is a flashing (every second) orange light.The battery information says "power source = external" If I unplug the ac adapter it totally dies.
I also tried putting the original unmodded battery in with the ac adapter and everything is normal. It will stay orange, the system will say its charging...everything normal.
So i know its not the ac adapter or the psp. Its definitely my pandora battery.
Has anyone ever run into this problem? If so how would I go about fixing or jump starting. I was thinking about buying the external PSP Slim Battery Charger but I'm not sure that will do the trick. Any help will greatly be appreciated.
