Yeah your right they do Red Ring within months of the install..but i bet if you actually took it to a professional and had it installed for a couple bucks extra it would be fine, instead of rigging it with bread ties and assorted screws.

Have them drill new holes in the Mother Board and Chassis for the Water Cooler so it fits on snuggly...also have the cooler run off of a different power source other than the 360 power supply and there you go.

here is my theory on water cooling and electronics.
ELECTRONICS DO NOT LIKE WATER!

I don't care if it is a 360 or a PC, i know they both have water cooling systems but i do not want water within 10 feet of any of my electronics. One small leak (or even condensation on the pipes that may drip) and you can say bye bye to whatever you put that cooling system in.

Well they use a non conductive liquid so in theory it wont harm anything if it sprung a leak. I agree with you though. It makes me nervous and I'd never do it my self.

I agree, something about electronics and water that just don't go together in my book.

Besides why waste $300 water cooling a 360 thats going to fail anyway? save that money for a new one when it dies.

Holy hack job! If it was done properly it would cool the 360 just fine. But the way he has those strapped across the cpu and gpu sucks. There's no way to get good, equal pressure like that. That is a waste of time and effort.

And I definately wouldn't do it to a console which is already experiencing problems. The damage is already done. Nothing will save the console, maybe just prolong its life. If you're going to water cool a 360, do it as a preventitive measure.

I'm not knocking the guy... but I mean if you're going to do it then do it right.
