You can play 2 player SSBB w/ two ppl on one wii, I did it several time w/ my brother when I was @ home....
I know you can play SSBB 2 player on one Wii LOL but not online.

I was actually a bit disappointed. I found this game actually a tad on the boring side.
Didnt have the same charm the previous ones did
Anyone agree?
I enjoy going down to the store, and spending money on blank dvds.

I agree, I guess the concept is played out, and with all these great racing games out now, Mario Kart isnt the same as when we were aged in the single digits, i think i was about 5 or 6 when I got it for the SNES.

I don't know what you guys are talking about...
Maybe if you are playing by yourself, then I could see it as repetitive (since it's the same concept as the others), but get a group of friends together and it's a blast.

I haven't played the new mario kart yet. I am waiting the US version to come out so I can get unbricked. My question is about the online play. Is it similar to Brawl, like the whole anyone and friends options? Do you need friend codes to have two or more people online on the same wii like brawl did?

No you don't - the second player can play as a guest - only 2 players on one wii though but it's enough.
And in anser to another Q above, this game is by no means boring - I've laughed so much and had loads of fun, particularly online.
I never touched any Nintendo stuff in the eraly years (Sega & Sony man really) but my son had GB/GBA and enjoyed that. I actually have a DS myself and we share the Wii (it's his tbh) but I'm well past "single digits" and he's mid-teens - we love MK Wii.

You can BrickBlock the update on the PAL version. This keeping your Wii as is so the USA version will update the Wii when keeping the update on the USA version. Just giving you a heads up if you didn't want to wait a few weeks.

Reburn, didnt work for me on my first try, and i used same settings.
I have a question, how do i update to 3.2j with the japanese mario kart? i can just enter the game screen without problem, it doesnt say i have to update, and thats not possible cuz i havent updated anything, last time i updated was with ssmb and it semibricked my wii (used the american brawl on my japanese wii) i heard that mariokart could fix my semi brick (cuz it has the update) but it doesnt even ask me to update or anything. could it be cuz i have wii24 offline? cant turn it on anymore cuz i cant access the settings anymore.
is there another way to update to 3.2j? please help

Actually it was only speculation that MK has the 3.2 update. I might be guilty of telling one or 2 it would unbrick their Wii - though I read somebody referring to the "new firmware" earlier and took it for granted that it was 3.2. It may not have 3.2 or perhaps the JAP version alone doesn't have 3.2. For instance SMG JAP has 3.O while the other SMGs have 3.1. I can't be sure and it'd be good if anyone else can definitely verify that any of the games have firmware versions on them.
I'm sorry if I'm guilty of giving somebody false hope - but in the scheme of things when ppl post stuff that says there's a new firmware on the disk I think it's only natural to assume there is and "new" would have to mean 3.2 - I would have still told them to try even if I wasn't sure because there is no danger attached.
If MK-JAP doesn't have 3.2J on it then it means waiting until yet another game comes along with that firmware on it.
