Seems like 3.2U is included with MK, if this disc was loaded in an NTSC Wii that has 3.2E installed would it attempt to install or would the update not run? No point in me downloading the game if it doesn't, may as well stick with the PAL version. Gracias.

i have a japan wii, if i play a Mario Kart Wii (J) on it there will be no problems right? but i think the menus and controls will be japanese.. is there a way i can change it to english? or should i just get the Mario Kart Wii (U) and remove its updates so i can play it in english?

Has anyone tested useing Brickblocker to cancel the 3.2 update allowing you to still run this on a 3.1 system. I did read that it worked for the PAL version but does it work for the NTSC version?

why don't you want to update to 3.2U? What's the need to stay on the 3.1U update..surely if 3.2U is fine and doesn't mess up the chip, then there shouldn't be a problem with installing the new update?

I am confused, I isn't Mario Kart Wii supposed to have the 3.2 update.
I am semi-bricked and I just bought Mario Kart. Popped it in, and it didn't ask for an update. Forgive me if this was cover.

Hey Guys. I have Kart and I have been playing for two days. I have a friend who has it and has been playing it. We can both play online in the regional category, but we can't seem to connect to each other.
Anyone here have anything like that happen to them?

Ah crap, not what we wanted to hear. You semi-bricked with PAL MK yeah? Looks like we may have to wait for 3.3U to overwrite the dud firmware as the Wii won't overwrite same version updates of different regions.

No. I semi-bricked my wii to 3.1 so I need the 3.2 update. And I thought Mario Kart Wii was going to have it. So I need a game with 3.2 update to get unbrick.

Tried the Pal version and the NTSC U version and no joy.
Tried in lots of various combinations of WBB, Region Frii + different discs
I have a jap modded wii and seing as I bought it modded I have no idea what chip is in it and whether it needs an upgrade.

was wondering if this games is playable, or if i need to do some stuff. i have SSBB working so unless there is a new update dont need that but i dont want to break my wii if i put it in so asking first. i have NTSC Wii

Posting my experience:
Using Mario_Kart_USA_Wii-QwiiF, burn with imgburn at 2x in a noname DVD-R
NTSC-USA WII with wiikey 1.9g no need to update to 1.9s
I just pop in the dvd, no updates in the disk, and begin to play without problems, other backups work as well.
My WII is not connected to the internet, so i don´t have the 3.2u update yet. But it works, so I don´t care. For the same reason, i don´t know if the online component works.

I have a question. I am trying to do a tournament on the Mario kart channel. every time I try this notice comes up. I'm pretty sure that is suppose to happen but what do I do after that to get to the tournament?
P.S. I DON'T HAVE THE GAME Unfortunately!

Is anyone having trouble with selecting their region when going online? For some reason, the wii seems to think i'm located in Anguilla when I'm in the UK, I can't seem to alter which region i am in. Any ideas? Anyone know what is happening or if they are having any similar problems...

Got mario kart to work with wii brick blocker on my 3.1E wii with 1.9s so you dont have to update to 3.2 if you choose not too, i for one do not.

Ok so unlocking rosalina, either get 1 star in mirror, or have the smg save.
But, will the ntsc SMG save be recognized by the pal MK?

No, you need the same region SMG save game to get rosalina unlocked.

Today is day 1 with my backup, I have been able to connect to WFC only once, most of the time I get error 61010, is this just because of high traffic?, also is there a way that nintendo can see that your using a chip when you send them your Mii info through WFC or just playing through Wifi?, lastly is it safe to update your mario kart channel form the in game screen, and can you install the channel on your wii dashboard safely? Thanks!

hey everyone, i also got this game today and installed the mario kart channel and online is working too. I burned at i think 6x on a amemorex dvd and evrything is working fine. WHat is all of this commotion about the mario kart channel, seems to be all good.

hello i used the 001 patch and i think i messed up the iso
win i put the disc in i get a black screen and
it says please take out the disc and restart the wii is there
any way i can undo this patch? i dont realy wont to rip it again

I have a wii key with 1.9s firmware and 3.2u system update (US Wii). When I play the original mario kart game (not copied) i sometimes get an unable to read disc message or the black screen saying there's an error and asks me to shut off the console and try again. Does anyone know what is causing this? It has been happening on my friend's console too. However, when we do get the game running, it works fine, I just want to be able to boot up the game in one go, instead of trying over and over again.

Haven't seen this covered yet, so I am going to ask...
I am running a wiikey modded (1.9) NTSC Wii with 3.1 firmware. I have a backup copy of the NTSC Mario Kart. It wants to do an update. Will I have any problems if I let it update?
Thanks in advance, and hopefully this hasn't been covered yet.

I have a PAL wii but firstly I tried it and got the 001 error ( I will patch it and burn later but I need an LG or SDGecko) I don't know which region my game is though so is there any way to tell? I tried installing the mario kart channel but the wii went black screen and I needed to take out the plug and plug in agin to work. I have wiikey, latest firmware and latest firmware wii too. I may need to download the PAL version and brickblock and regionfrii or wont it matter if its PAL anyway?
