I've switched to Sky Sports to update but it's been stuck on 'Please wait, code being updated...' for 20 minutes. I've tried a different channel and switching the receiver off and back on again.

I've got the same box with the same issue... Stuck on 'please wait, updating codes'. Have done a factory reset and a full scan - can get free channels fine - only encrypted not decrypting! (from Leicesterhshire).

I would also have a june/july 07 flash on my box id i have one ..!!!!!!
And if i had one it would be the same box i bought without having a problem with for nearly a year .!!
Seems to be a uk wide problem .!

Same problem in Hartlepool, been off since about 4.30 PM and brought up text saying insert smart card.
Also since then it says updating, but no change to screen.
Can someone explain what's happened?

Hi. I am new to this. My box was working fine until this afternoon and I understand that I need to update the codes, I am in a telewest area so I think the codes are: 0 - BE 62 64 FB C3 2C 73 F6
01 - D8 9B E6 5E 3A 0C 45 AE. What I do not understand is where to I put these codes, do they go somewhere in the Eurovox max menu. I have been to the link below but am baffled by what needs to be done, please help: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363

YES! Ive got it. Ok this is what I did for all those who need help: Firstly, I am in a tele**** area, I did a scan in the usual way and got the updating code image for all channels, I pressed menu, then the yellow button, then I entered provider: 5A 01 key00: BE 62 64 FB C3 2C 73 F6 key01: D8 9B E6 5E 3A 0C 45 AE , then I went to sky sports 1 and it worked :) A big thank you to all previous comments.

i had probs with codes updating.uk codes for t/west are be 62 64 fb c3 2c 73 f6 b5 aa 58 2d 64 5e e1 05. these were only codes that worked for me.
