i have a 360 flashed with 1.2c. I'm playing ninja gaiden black backup(verb)and it was playing fine until chapter 5. it then froze in a spot and was unplayable. cant' use controller, have to eject disc. so I rented the game and it freezes in the SAME SPOT. why would this happen? there has to be something wrong with the 360 right? please help
try clearing the cache on your hard drive, not exactly sure how to do it but i know its under your systems tab under memory. I beleive there is a button combo you have to press i'm sure you can find it on google and i know i've seen it on here.
Also you stated freezes on original and backups in your title can you elaborate more on this? What originals have you tried what are your backup's burned on, and how long have you been using this firmware? I had a problem w/1.41 for benq where originals and backups were freezing and tried getting the firmware from another location and it seemed to work for me.

I'm just wondering, what does clearing the cache do?
I've been using the flashed 360(from a member on here) for about 2-3 months. I've only played 3 games gears, KOTOR and now ninja gaiden black and it has only freezed with ninja gaiden. It freezes in the same spot in the game with a backup(burned on verbatims) and an original. it just stalls and the controller is inoperable. the problem has to be the 360/firmware...I wish I could correct this...I'll try clearing the cache..but am distraught..
just to report...SUCCESSS. I cleared the cache and it now doesn't freeze. i think I read somewhere else that xbox 1 games seem to clog up the 360's cache or something.anyway..thanks for your help
