Hey every one i am completely lost when it comes down to downgrading the psp. I have read heaps of tutorials and every one seems to be conflicting. If you guys could point me in the right direction it would be great.

I have a psp slim with official firm wear 3.80 i am wish to downgrade it and put on the home brew software. I dont have another psp just a psp slim but i do have a Pandora's battery and only 1 memory stick is it possible to do so with what i have got ?

What size is your mem stick. if it's over 512mb use This guide.

I got a 4 gig memory stick, thanks for the reply i think if i finaly get this thing to work i might make my own tutorial on how to do it in very laymans terms :P. I got one more question i read if you brick a psp slim there is yet to be a way to unbrick it ? is this still true or is the pandora battery the fix ?

The only way to full brick your slim is pissin with the IDstorage. You can still recover from semi-brick. You'll need a smaller stick than 4gb for the magic mem stick, 512-2gb recommended

When you make up you MMS and install CFW back-up your nand.

Make sure it's not a fake. Put it in your PSP, goto photo/memory stick, press triangle/information and it should say magicgate: Supported
