Hi all

apologies if this has been covered elsewhere; To avoid the DVD burning issues may forum users seem to experience, is it possible to boot and run Wii homebrews from 8gb+ size SD card on machines with Argon or D2C chips?

Thanks in advance for reading, your wisdom appreciated to prevent hairloss!

Do you mean Wii homebrew or GC homebrew? GC I dunno...

Wii homebrew is available thru the Zelda hack and the only disk needed is Zelda.

I haven't really looked at this in great depth but you can use that to install homebrew channels on your Wii i.e run tetris or something from a channel that's installed. The Zelda hack doesn't require a modchip anyway - unless it's a backup copy of Zelda you're running. Once a homebrew channel is in you can just run that homebrew directly (i.e. no disk). There isn't loads yet but there's a bit to mess on with for those interested enough.

It's not something I'm that interested in right now. I just glance at articles that come up to see the state of play. When it progresses to the point there are really useful apps then I'll scrutinize it more.
