Hi all, ive downgraded and installed 3.90m33 on many psps with no issues but now i am having some problems. i have a phat psp with 3.90m33-3. The problems are:
1: some homebrew games come up with the error 80020148, ive checked
many forums and followed all their steps with no luck

2: when i try to install 1.5kernal addon for 3.90m33 it shows up in the game section as a corrupt icon, even though i have the 150.pbp in the root and copied the 150k_addon folder to PSP/GAME

3: Also some isos are not loading, they would launch from the xmb but then gets stuck at a black screen and turn itself off. i know these isos are good because i have tried them with many psps with success

also i downgraded from 3.90 official, im not sure if that is a factor
any help would be appreciated, thanks
John.

they're dependent on you having the 1.5 kernel.

copy the folder to MS:\PSP\GAME150

press SELECT to bring up the M33 VSH MENU in the psp's XMB, and then select Sony NP9660 in the UMD ISO MODE.

Turn off PSP. Turn on holding R. Select Congifuration and then advanced.

Make sure these 3 options are disabled.

Their are only 2 options in the advanced configuration and they are both disabled. Although i think i may have found the problem, a faulty memory card! when i format and put the isos in they work but when i add all my homebrew along with the isos they dont work.

also ive discovered that once ive put some stuff on, anything else i put on will show up as corrupt data. and before you ask YES i did buy this 4gb pro duo memory card from ebay.

can someone confirm if this sounds right?

Which folder are you trying to run the homebrew from? What format is the homebrew files in? (2 Folders?) It does sound like a eBay MS as I have bought some good some bad from eBay

All the homebrew are in the PSP/GAME folder and work fine including a couple of psx games, but the psp iso's which are in the ISO folder launch into a black screen and then the psp turns itself off after anout 10 seconds

Sounds like a corrupt ISO.

Is the 1.50 installed to play the firmware?

Have you got a slim or fat PSP?

I've used this iso on other psp's with success and if i format my memory stick and put the iso in first, it will work.

i have the 1.5 addon for 3.90m33-3 and i have a phat psp
