Should I stand the 360 vertically or horizontally? Which is better?

I would suggest horizontal so it doesn't fall, beacause if it does the 360's are notorious for scratching games so bad that they won't play anymore. I was playing one day and all I did was move xbox slightly to plug in ethernet cable and it scratched my game and it was useless afterward.

Air flow wise, which position would be best for te Xbox 360? I do not want mine to overheat.

BTW, why not remove the games from the Xbox 360 before moving it around? They're too damn expensive to scratch!

i have mine laying horizontal with one of the chill pads under it that are for laptops. I think that is the best way to do it considering most of the time when i take my games out of my box they are cooler than room temp. but either way i think that horizontal is the best way to go, i also have it up off the table to so it can get more airflow underneath of the box.

I asked that question to a couple guys at GameStop awhile back. They said flat is recommended. They said if you have it standing up, the heat from the 360 rises and will eventually overheat the hard drive.

Now normally I take any advice from those guys with a grain of salt, but this time their reasoning does seem plausable.
