I put in a backward compatibility update DVD(Office Depot brand) that I burned in my 360 to update, but it won't read it at all and I can hear the laser len hitting the DVD in my 360, is my laser len damaged in anyway? I took that DVD out then play my 360 backups, it works fine.

Could you reply with a more clear explanation?

Try to stay away from the Office depot brand, they are not as reliable as Verbatim.

the disc you were using may possibly have been bent.

But like the other poster said, I'd avoid putting any non OEM discs in your 360 unless its Verbatim

I got another Office Depot DVD with a movie on it and it played and the laser len didn't hit the disc, I've play the movie for over 2 hours with the Office Depot brand DVD+R in my 360's drive, am I screwed?

i dunno why this thread is still open!!! close it yourself My friend, can't you notice your xbox is reading everything instead that disk? a damaged lens will not read anything, so you put a movie and played it for 2 hours and more more disks and all works, only this disk didnt work!!! it means that the disk is damaged my friend its cryStal F***in clear
