Hey Guys,

Trying to put both discs of Sex and the City, First Season DVDs on a single DVD.
Q # 1. I put in my source and destination, selected DVD+R(W)/ 4472MB, selected JOIN in ?Copy Mode?, Compression Mode set to ?Variable Ratio?. (next screen) I have 6 titles and am unable to select all 6 ? How do I get all titles in the following screen ?
Q # 2. Once I am in the following screen, do I want Cell ?, Chapter ? or Layer as a choice?

Guess you figured out that I?m a-lookin? for a Guide ? Can someone point this old dog in the right direction ??

Thanks,
Pete

Hi Pete,
Have you looked at Nero Recode 2? I haven't tried using the "Remake a DVD" portion but it looks like it might be just what you need. It says "Create your own DVD using parts from different DVD sources". "You can remove unwanted subtitles and audio tracks, trim videos and recode the content so that it fits on a standard 4.7 GB DVD." Yahooo!
Heres the guide for it:

http://www.nero.com.us/632071784670035.html

I've been using Recode 2 in the "Copy entire DVD to DVD" mode with Decrypter to do regular back-ups, This seems to work better than Nero and Shrink on the larger DVD-9s.
Well thats all I could think of.
I hope the link works.

Best Wishes,
Frank

Of course the link didn't work cause I just copy and pasted it so I had to edit to come back and type the dang thing in!!

baabaa,

Thank you there Good Guy, that was right on the money -

Simple as can be when you know where the rocks are
- Again, Thanks:-))

Frank old Buddy,

I'll try your suggestion this weekend -

Many thanks for the fast come back -

FYI, a definite plus to recommending DVD2One. I was trying the trial and went ahead and bought it - it's really easy -

Of course that's no reason not to experiment more with all that Nero has to offer, especially the recode -

Glad it helped......I have never joined (as of yet), was it as simple as the guide suggested.......?

To be honest there didn't seem an awful lot there.....but if it yields the results you crave....cool............sex in the city, just became sexy on the dvd.......

baabaa,

There wasn't a lot there, that's how simple it was - If I would have gone a bit further I might have figured it out - but with the guide, it was done on the first try -

As I'm typing this I'm preparing tonight?s entertainment - joining "Out of Time" with "S.W.A.T."
I just don't want to get up and put the second DVD in - How lazy is that ?? ;-D

Its just Soooooo simple with movies -

With "Sex and the City" I had to join 12 episodes - I only have to join 2 here -

What a Freakin' rush ? I haven?t had this much fun since I started making my own Music CDs ?

You have to try this !!!!!!!!!

I am truly psyched !!!!!!!!
:-D

LOL......if it tickles you, then it has to be good therapy......LOL.....

Yes, real pain in the arse having to replace you dvd's.......

I have a 300cd changer and a philips pronto(touch screen) remote control.......ALL of my albums are programmed into the remote so I can select ANY disc at the touch of the screen....saves my weiry bones......

Just keeping my eyes open for a suitable 300 dvd changer (there are some knocking around, but very finicky).......then I can really kick back.....
