Adobe has launched the Adobe Media Player along with downloadable content and instructional videos on Wednesday. The new software will rival players such as Microsoft's Windows Media Player (WMP) and Apple's QuickTime. I Downloaded AMP and I use XP, and quality is perfect.
All you need is

Intel® Pentium® 4 2.33GHz or faster processor
Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista® Home, Business, or Ultimate
1GB of RAM and 64MB of VRAM

I found it to be a very High-quality audio and video, even at full-screen resolutions.

Their system requirements are a load of crap. I'm running it on a P3 XP SP2 with 512Mb of ram and a 128Mb video card. It works just fine nice and clear no problems. I think the biggest issue would be connection speed not system specs (up to a point at least). And no it is not my everyday usage PC. It is just my media "server".
