Bricked psp NAND help

ok so i bricked my fat psp so i used pandora on my psp and im up 2 da step in which i just install da firmware but i get stuck at this message during the installation
Formating flash0...
ive been looking around on this board and other places an ive sen people with this problem but they all say that the psp just gets stuck on this step an stays like that but my psp shuts down after maybe 30 seconds of being on Formating flash0...
regardless if that matters or not heres my real problem so i follow a guide for
NAND tool and i get to the step in which i have to Repartition my lflash so while its doing that it doesnt finish all the way i get a message that says
ERROR: ran out of NAND for lflash exiting in 10 seconds
anyone know whats up??? did i do something wrong??

yea i know about that guide thats the guide i was following and during these steps:
13. Select the 'Repartition lflash' option and press 'X'
14. Press 'Triangle' to confirm you want to 'logically format the flash'
* Wait while the lflash area is logically formatted *
i get that same error message it doesnt finish with the repartition it gives the error message
ERROR: ran out of NAND for lflash exiting in 10 seconds
any help would be really appreciated i do not want to have to buy a new psp i just bought this one off somebody like 2 weeks ago

Have you got pandoras sorry just seen yep. Use pandoras gui 1.5

Use that as you Magic Memory stick. It'll give you a fresh format and partition. I use it when ever I have a problem with a phat.

hi, can anyone help me fix my psp?i was trying to put a different xmb theme (used to have applcore try to change to some schmedia theme)i replaced the vsh files, and now everyrime i turn it on without the battery inside (have to turn on psp via charger without battery inside because i hardmodded it)and when i turn it on i always just get a black screen. but when i put the battery in, it takes me to this list:
1. press x to instal 3.71 m33
(doesnt work because i accidently took off the 371.PBP)
2. press o to install original 3.71 (dont want to,obviously)
3. press [] to dump nand
4. press L+R+start+home to restore dump nand
please help because i had like all these homebrew games and CWcheat on it and im gonna be going on a flight in 3-2 weeks!!please help!!
any help would much, much, appreciated!!!

OK, well you can either replace th 371.pbp (download from HERE), or you can remake your magic memory stick, using THIS guide. You will then need to reinstall the custom firmware which will take you back to the original sony XMB on 3.71 M33-2
To avoid this in future, always make sure you have the original XMB theme running before you install a new theme.

i have the same problem. deleted the original vsh and font stuff (remembering 2 copy it 2 computer) and replaced it with applecor vsh and font. now every time i turn it on its goes on for about 30 seconds with a black screen and then turns off. when i go into recovery mode the screen justlights up a little but nothing appears. PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you get into recovery mode (hold R trigger whilst turning on? If so you can just copy the original files back. If you dont have a copy, you will need to use pandora and mms.
@Scoobybn...you can get a pandora from ebay, amazon, or various other online shops. Also, id remove that signature pic soon if i were you, its to big and the mods definitely wont like it!

can any one help me get the firmware back my sons psp. my son was updating and canceled in the middle of downloading the update. The psp wont start. only the power light goes on. what can we do! is there a reset?
