Hi,I have a xbox360 and I have the backups for it.Well ther backups work fine on my xbox360,but I loan them to a friend and it wont pick up and play on his.I may have the older firmware as to he said he does also. Do you think he just might need to have a newer version of firmware on his xbox360? I have a Hitachi drive and he has a Samsung drive.

Could be the DVD drive, Could be the media you use or could be the firmware.

maybe he might need the firmware upgrade.He said the Devil May Cry 4 picked up,asked for updates,said ok then screen went blue and then reset to try again,but they just tell him dirty disc.they are cleran and they still dont work. and also I use XBC 2.7v never had prob w/that to backup the firmware.

Let me know what you think and have anymore insite to this.

it could simply be that your drive reads whatever media you use just fine while his does not. All drives can be a little funny or picky about media, both the burner and the 360 DVD drive.
