Cannot Flash Sagem DBox

I've just been given a Sagem dbox by a friend to update but I'm having problems. It's got the Sportster Pro 1.73 firmware but the image is from 2005. I'm using IFA up flash the box but get the error message :

BOOTP/TFTP bootstrap loader (v0.3)
debug:
debug: Transmitting BOOTP request via broadcast
debug: Given up BOOTP/TFTP boot
boot net failed

boot: elfcopy failed: 16

What am I doing wrong? I've tried to flash via FTP but cannot connect to the receiver and do not want to mess about with my PCs network settings.

try this, run ftp when u get to"your computer will now be prepared for flash process" make sure power unplugged on dbox press ok on ftp wait a sec then switch dbox on

Make sure you have:-

Null modem cable
Crossover network cable
Dbox 2 Image Flashing Assistant
Correct Image (either x1 or x2 depending on the box)

When all plugged in run IFA (remove power to box beforehand) press ok then apply power to Dbox.

May have to try a couple of times if unsuccessful but should work fine ...
