I'm trying to upgrade my slim from 3.70 m33-2 using MUX 2.0, but I get the above mentioned message. I've followed all the steps from the Universal Unbricker V3 Guide up to the point where I would run the 3.90 m33 updater, but get this error message when I try to run it. Any ideas?

Edit: Sorry if I'm spamming the forums with all the questions I've been having lately. It's been a struggle to get any or these downgrades/upgrades/homebrews working the way I'd like.

Edit2: I got the 3.80 installer to run. I'd still appreciate any suggestions as to what might be wrong with my 3.9 installer though, as I'd ideally like to be running the most current CFW.

Could be corrupt. Delete it from ur MS and replace the file again.

If your running 3.80M33 just use the wifi update from your XMB. It'll download all the files for you and install the latest custom firmware.

make sure you haven't renamed it twice in your computer, try naming it 390 then try again...it might have already been given the extension .PBP

I always thought that the wifi update would look for new official firmware. Does m33 look for updates on a different server, then?
