Ok i am new to the PSP scene, but i was told by my friends that i could customize my PSP by downgrading it.

I been looking at alot ALOT of tutorials but i am sooo confused....

can someone please clear things out for a newb like me?

All i know is that because i got a slim i cant do it like a fat...
and that for a slim i need to make a magic memory stick and a pandora battery

Is there a way to downgrade without making a Pandora battery? because i don't want to risk damaging my battery.

Also can anyone please give me some links to good tutorials for downgrading 3.72
i googled and read them all, but some say "do this" some say "DONT do this"

so i am sooo confused.

Slim can only be downgraded with the battery and memroy stick. There is a few ways to make the battery, one is to take it apart and lift up a pin, dont work on all battery.

second was to do it by software, using a custom firmware psp (hacked) This method is hard to do on a slim, and is complicated because of sony blocking things. So it is best to make the battery by software on a old hacked psp.

third is to buy it. There are Orange Datel batteries.

im too lazy at the moment to give links or anything, maybe someone here would, but there are a few guide around here that is good
