alright i bought a new psp today and its firmware version is 3.90 can someone give me a tutorial or lead me in the right direction on how to downgrade....i know i have to get a pandora battery and reformat all that stuff im just not sure which tutorials on this site are the right ones to use. sorry im a complete and total noob towards psp's

that will get you custom firmware

does it matter what custom firmware i have on the psp and for the future what do i need to do if i were wanting to get rid of the custom firmware.

yes it matters what cfw you have i recommend 3.90m33-3 the latest and greatest and now you can update the cfw using the sony xmb update button to go back to official firmware (you would have to be crazy or sending it back to sony) then you use the pandor abattery method again just select install the official firmware instead of the m33 firmware
