I modded my xbox and got rid of everything except the unleash X launch and all other necessary necesities and when i go to go get the maps again, i can barely squeeze it the biggest one and it craps out! My mod dashboard dont nearly take up the blocks it needs. Is there a way to compress the drive? do i uninstall, download, and then mod? What do i do!?! Please help!

Well after softmodding, did you enable, format and use F: drive? Your E: is pretty small, and there should be left over room (on some HDDs) that you can partition to F: and use it. Since you're using unleashx, there should be an option to use the rest of your HDD as F:. It's not large, but should give you room for maps. Since you've softmodded, the next logical step is save some cash get a large HDD and swap, it is not too terribly hard and the benefits are amazing

Wow haven't seen this question in a long time people still play halo 2?

anyway best way to fit it on your drive is to delete the single player maps. I remember doing that a long long time ago and that seemed to be the only thing that would work.

Obviously this is only if you want to play multiplayer, i think you can switch it around and delete all the multiplayer maps and keep the single player ones if you want to play single player.

same as the multiplayer maps, i can't tell you the correct directory right now but it's in the maps folder in halo 2. You'll see which ones are campaign and which ones are multiplayer. You can tell by the names.

You have to re-sign the map with a tool. I'm sure there's a tutorial on here for that. I forget how to do it since it was probably 3 years ago i helped make a demonic map pack.
