XCM 1080p VGA box Questions

I bought this box around a week ago. I just had a few questions and I was also wondering if anyone else had this product.

I have it hooked into my ps3 with the PS3? shielded component cable that comes with the box. My monitor is a Dell? 1908FP 19".

My monitor has VGA and DVI connections so I don't have to use the VGA Card Port on the 1080p Box. I have the VGA side of the monitor going into the Monitor Port on the 1080p Box and the DVI side going to my PC.

Since my monitor is only a 19" it doesn't support 1080p correctly on the screen so I have to go with 720p. I have tested the box out of two different monitors and the quality looks ok but it has a lot of blur to it. Does anyone else experience a blurry screen with the 1080p box?

I was thinking I should maybe buy an official PS3? shielded component cable and that would fix the problem. Any ideas?
