Problems still with making a MMS/Pandora

I'm still having issues with the whole MMS and Pandora. I did the totalnewbie installer on my XP and it's made. I put the Datel in, and the memory stick flickered. I waited for it to be done, then I press square, and it blinked for awhile (3-5 min) after it was done, I pressed X, and it restarted. But I don't think it was created. What am I doing wrong still?
