So my sister bought a psp slim about a week or 2 ago...

Then I came across all this modding of the psp's battery.
So, I hard modded my sisters psp battery and installed cfw 3.71 m33-2 and updated to 3.80 m33. Now that the cfw is installed, I want to "normalize" the battery so I wont have to run the psp off of the charger all the time. So I went around reading diffrent threads and found out that the newer psp slims with the TA-085-v2 mainboards cannot be converted back.

[Correct any of this information if im wrong :x]

Now my question is...

What are my options on running the psp with a battery? halp pls @_@

You can certainly convert the battery back to normal if you re solder the pin back on the circut board

Well... how hard would you say soldering the pin back in would be and will there be any issues?

If so, I'd probably just buy a whole 'nother battery.
^ that would work, correct = =;;?

the battery will work as a "battery" just fine the way it is. you just can't turn the PSP on with it inserteed while its in a pandora state.

You would almost have to take the battery out, plug in AC power, turn it on. put the battery in and than unplugg AC power to use the battery as a normal one.

Just solder the pin back down all it takes is getting the soldering iron hot then pushing the pin back down into place. As long as you did not break the pin when you lifted it. It should not take longer than 30 seconds.

You used a soldering iron for this right? If not it will not stay down for long. Maybe a day or two.
