i can only find one romset for the n64 on thepiratebay. its really annoying because can get the some of the games working on my wii, but they are very glitchy. so im just curious if anyone knows how to make romsets so that i can possibly have one for my wii that actually works well. i want to play mario kart and starfox quite badly.

I know you're trying to help Digibear but I'd edit your post and take out the links cos it against the rules. See number 5 - wouldn't wanna see you get banned ;)

ferret09, I tried the file you're talking about (piratebay). I burnt it and played mario kart with no single problem.
Try burn it again

Someone should really make a flash cart for N64. I'm sure most of us have N64s lying around or can get one quite cheaply on the net.

He's just musing - unless you mean about cheap N64s LOL... you can get them very cheaply of course... ebay is your best bet. ;)

so nash 76, mario kart works for you with no problems huh...... ill just have to try re-burning it i guess. well, if you get a chance, you should play through the hard planets on starfox. and see if the same one screws up on yours as it did mine. if you so happen to do so, its the green planet on the very left towards the end. the end guy is a pirate, it always freezes up when im fighting him. and thanks for the help you have already provided. much appreciated.

Instead of picking up a cheap n64 and hoping for a flash cart, you could pick up a cheap xbox mk1 (cheap as chips on auction sites), install a custom dashboard (either softmod or modchip it, google 'xbox' and 'scene' and read lots!) and install Surreal64 (n64 emulator, actually 3 progs within a gui) that has very high compatibility.
Xboxes are commonly still used for cheap emulation of.... coleco, atari 2600 5200 7800, nes, snes, amstrad, cbm64, genesis, n64, intellivision, msx, capcom, master system, spectrum, gameboy, x86pc, lynx, mame, wonderswan, gba, vic-20, cbm pet, amiga, atari st, zx81 and as a media center. I wouldn't be without mine :-)

Yeah I have my xbox setup for emulation, but not 3D games. I tried running N64 games on it in the past but they ran like crap, I probably had a bad version or earlier version of an emulator. BUT now I am for sure gonna look that up lol.

Use the right stick, it should take you back to the menu and from there you can load another game

so, noucamp99, would you say that most of the 64 games work on the x box. cuz me and my brothers play a buttload of mario party. and so it would be nice to be able to play all the bigger titles for the n64 on a console that did not involve real crappy and easily worn controls.
