You basically set your PS3 to work while you are not using it. It is a project started by Standford to use computers to fold proteins basically. It's like a supercomputer doing tons of computational work in a lot less time than it use to take. It could help in curing many of todays diseases. Thanks for joining kpuz. It's all for the betterment of humanity.

ok, this is why this thread needs to be deleted...
SDF_GR needs to STFU. I'm orthodox, so don't come on this forum calling my religion cancer. You wanna be atheist fine, but don't insult me.

This thread isn't intended to start a debate on who is right or wrong. Just to get people interested in the folding project on a team that shares their ideas. It is obviously generating interest so let's not insult other religions please because I don't want this thread to be deleted. Everyone is entitled to believe what they wish.

I'm not religious, but not atheist either; and I agree with you its one thing to not agree with someones choice but its another to attack them for their beliefs.

You are Hiding behind a Monitor and you flame...bravo bravo that shows courage.
Ridiculous people...
3rd. Judging from your behavior, you are a part of that cancer.
4th Learn some manners , and if you have something to say,say it.
To prove,prove it.
Dont talk shity.Learn some damn manners.
Now...
If you are 15years old, well i can understand that...

wow, you got me there...
*obvious sarcasm*
and by the way don't tell me I have a lack of education when you don't even use proper grammar.
i'm assuming you meant to say "coward" which would be a noun.
"cowered" is the act of cowering in the past tense, i.e. crouched. I'm guessing you didnt mean it that way though. Just a little educational lesson I thought I might give you.

I am not from an english speaking country so mistakes like this can happen.
Sarcasm or not,
What i see is that you don't have anything else to say or to prove except that extra "e" hahaha you are genius hahaha
Your comment was... "e" ...hahaha you are in MIT or something?
or you are the mastermind behind Cern?
and you wroteOriginally posted by grkblood: didnt
not didn't.
You are really funny , hilarious actually.

You guys insulting each other like this is probably going to get this thread closed. If you want to discuss your differences of opinion or lack of grammar please do it on another thread because this one is intended to bring people into the folding@home program.

@graham
Yea, I'm not trying to argue with this clown. He obviously started this with the whole cancer statement and is just trying to make himself look right when he obviously isn't. Sorry to trash your thread with this, but stuff like this is going to happen when you bring religion, or lack there of, into your threads. Honestly, you should have never done that just so things like this wouldnt happen. Folding group fine, atheist only folding group not so fine... While you cause is good by helping the folding project your ways of going about it arnt so good. This could branch off to many other discussions that I don't feel like debating b/c they are pretty much pointless.
@SDF_GR
Since you seem to want to know so much about me I'll let you in on some info. I just turned 23, am an electrical engineer, and most likely making more money now that you ever will. Please stop trying to make yourself appear superior. You're performing to an un-amused crowd.
Rant over.

You sir are in this case the provoker.
Since everyone has the rights to their beliefs there is no reason for this thread to be closed besides the two of you fighting back and fourth I've contacted a mod to get all that smut removed.

Thanks to everyone who has joined the team. We are really starting to get some results. You can also run the program on your computers and it has absolutely no affect on performance. It only takes advantage of your unused cycles so you don't even know it is there. If you want to install in onto your computers you can download it here. Thanks guys.
