i'd like to ask i can update my CFW while using the CXMB applecor v2

i will not care if the CXMB gets deleted

is this possible?

Yes it is possible. For some reason someone has started a rumor that it bricks your PSP. Well I do not believe this is true because I upgraded my frimware with applecor and it worked fine.

Although, like you said it will reset your XMB theme to the default.
