For all of you against EA's predatory bid over TakeTwo Interaction right before GTA IV's release so they can reap all the revenue.

Thought GTA IV was a rockstar title...

Honestly don't care either way who owns it.. not like we can do anything about it except blow hot air at EA. An exercise in futility.

I don't have any gripe with EA except the boring same old unimaginative titles they roll out year after year like anybody gives a **** which player skins are on what team. But I don't play sport games anyway.. so it's pointless for me to get involved with how crappy madden08 is or whatever.. because I will never buy such tripe.

Yeah man it sux, but it's like people keep buying the EA games so they're gonna do what they want. Sux bc need competition in the sports genre, but EA is eliminating that so we are stuck with sucky games.

There are just a few of them. Personally this hits home very hard for me being a GTA fan. If this happens you can either expect GTA to just go away, or it will just be a shell of it's former self once EA gets a hold of it and start "improving" it for the next in the series.

here is the part of the articles that i read that really worries me more then anything else right now.

Pach-Attack noted, "I think if EA takes over Take-Two, they have an economic incentive to delay [Grand Theft Auto IV]." The reason for this, naturally, would be to debut GTAIV during the much more lucrative holiday season at the end of the year (as was the original plan for 2007). Pachter says that Take Two can't afford to delay the game on their own because they "need the money."
