D2CKey Modded Wii Help !!!!!!

So i just burned my first GCN game and i was tryin to play it on my Wii it loads up bet when i actually start playin the game like my Wiis fan stops or somthing and something pops up on my screen sayin gamecube disk cannot be read please look at instruction manual but wen i try any of my wii backups they work perfect iono what the problem is. Is my modchip starting to break or is my system overheatin iono but can someone please help me. Thanks

Sometimes my wii games did that and a good clean of the disc helped. Also if you leave the Wii on for ages it may not work aswell.

If neither of these work look at your mod chip firmware because it may have problems or may need updating

Flying_V you can't update a D2CKey.

Also, I think I red somewhere that the Wii freezes sometimes when swithing from Gamecube to Wii mode. Just keep trying to boot the game, and if your lucky, it might even work.
