make sure you bridged JP1 if your system is NTSC, JP2 its its PAL, and both if its a JAP model.
neways, I'm going to try something new regarding solving my own problem. I'm going to stack a few sticky notes on top of one another and set it on top of the clip so that when i screw it to the board, firm pressure remains on the clip. i'll report back and let everyone know what happens.

Wii irckr is working now. I have to boot it on my XP. it doesnt work on my vista. I live in the US and bought my Wii here. So I need to bridge JP1 correct? If so do I just solder it?

Thats Correct, you need to bridge the JP1 for you guys in the US, Its on your Chip in the Corner section, you cant miss it. Just a quick spot of solder and job done. Let us know how you get on...

So far my wii is working good except for one game which is the game party. It will load, but once I hit start it will freeze with blank screen. Any Idea?

might be a corrupted ISO, or bad burn.
