since i dont have a samsung drive i cant go step by step and tell you what u can and can't do. However i can give you these links, that i think if you read will answer all your questions.

This is a samsung ms25

This should help you with everything.

oh and for your raid problem, somebody told me..maybe in here, that when you install your sata card on your mobo. You want to use the sata slot that faces your computer. I.E the one that is furthest away from that metal part on the card. (Check to make sure though)

oh and for an update about myself, I reflashed my hitachi to 8x speed. And then i burned my first game today (gta4) using imgburn and verbatim discs. took one try and the game works perfectly. I am 6% done with game :)

yea NTFS2DOS , dont u have a floppy drive? its a lot easier to do it from a floppy or thumb drive
