My channels have gone all over the place and I think to fix this I need the Bouquet & Service.xml files. I have been searching all over the net for the download but I can't find it. When i did find it on a forum I couldn't download it because I had to make 20 posts and be registered for 10 days.

Would anyone be kind enough to point me in the right direction? I need them for the Leicester area. PM ME I guess would be the best approach.

Many thanks in advance.

Woz

How many threads do you need to ask this question in?

Your other thread should suffice, as when people come across it they will post the answer if they have it, asking the question in two different places will just cause confusion.

Have you searched through the threads for what you are looking for?

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Sorry, I thought the fact my title was to do with something else they might not look at my specific question. Appologies.

I've searched and searched but just cannot seem to get a download.

Could anyone email me the files?

It might actually be easier for you to arrange them the way you want them, especially as no-one seems to have what you are looking for.

When you have it done, ftp the bouquets.xml to your computer and you will have it for next time (or to email to anyone else looking for it!)

If the files are out there somewhere then i think i'll wait a little longer and hope someone gets back to me. It looks like it will take an age to complete

Once you get the hang of using the remote, you would be suprised how quickly you can get through it.

Hi,

Everyone will have a certain preference to which order they want their channels and what channels they want to view.

For example, when my dbox was working, I only had about 50 channels that I watched.

Best advice is connect to your laptop to your dbox, ftp into it and copy over your bouquets.xml file. Then using notepad edit and change the order. Once your happy copy it back over to your dbox and restart your dbox.

I suggest you make a copy of the file incase it messes up.

Good luck

Zak

Ok, when you run a full scan it will automatically create a services.xml file and bouquets.xml file.

Login to your dbox via ftp and go to the zapit folder. This can be found under the following:

ipaddress/tuxbox/config/zapit

Copy over the both files onto your pc/laptop and then change the order in Bouquets.xml. Remember if you remove any channels you don't want to view from bouquets.xml file, remove them from the services.xml file as well, otherwise they will still appear at the end of all your channels.

If you are using the Laky-Pro-1 image then you will not find the above files. I am currently trying to find these to sort out my channels, if I have any updates I will post them here:
