hi guys,

this week i upgraded my phat psp to a slim model. i'm quite interested in the possibilities of the component cable output, it's a nice feature. the size of the game screen is a little disconcerting though - so i am wanting to know if anyone has released a view/size hack/mod to make the viewing screen larger in-game, or if there is a way around this? i have tried zooming on my tv, but it stretches the screen unevenly.

I think it may be related to the native resolution of the PSP. I don't know what it can output to though. how big is your TV?

32 inch. wide screen.

the psp doesn't upscale, it shows the same native resolution of the psp screen. but maybe a mod could be created to make the view size bigger on the tv.

Heh you have the same setup as me. My Samsung 32" only stretches the image vertically thus changing it into a 4:3 picture...sorta...

Hope there's a hack soon!
