Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that Judas Priest?s 1982 classic album, "Screaming For Vengeance" will be the first complete album to be added to Rock Band's downloadable content catalog on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store. The album will hit XBL on April 22nd and the PSN two days later. Each track will cost $1.99 USD for individual songs or $15 USD for the full album. ... [ read the full article ]

Awesome, although I would personally prefer to have "Heartbeat City" released for the Cars as that my favorite album of theirs. Oh well, their self-titled album has some fun stuff on it as well. :-)

However, unless they speed up the releasing of it for DLC it looks like it could be around September/October before The Cars album is in DLC.

Not sure but on RockBand.com, under "News", on the March 24th entry it says that RB is headed to the Wii with a release date of June 22nd 2008.

For anyone that was wondering I found out that "The Cars" album is coming out sometime in May.

Following that, in June, the Pixes' "Doolittle" album will be released as well.

I got this info from a Wired article, which is located here:

good job rock band,

but when are they guna get music that isnt so mainstreamed??

its like listening to the "hard rock" stations, that play music everyone has heard of...

a lil disapointing,

but you cant have it all

Is there any chance they would include a Paramore album in Rock Band? I think the more diversity they will include the more people will become interested in the game. It would be great if this was possible!
