why? what is gained by modding the firmwares and all that other stuff?

Don't get me wrong, i'm not against it. I recently traded a hacked and modded iPhone for said xbox360. Does it allow you to cheat? i hope not because thats just not cool. I enjoy fair play multiplayer and cheating is a step backwards in gaming society.

would it allow to play burned games and such? I'm interested in the results even though i highly doubt i will do it at all. thanks in advance for any info.

It does let you play burned games, and doesn't allow you to cheat at all.
