SSBB Disc Update Frozen!

I put in Super Smash Bros Brawl and it said I needed to do an update off the disc. I started the update and at about 99%, it froze. The thing in the corner is still moving though. What do I do? It's been like this for about 10 minutes!

Give it a while longer and try letting it finish. Sometmes this can happen.
