Last night i decided to crack open the 360 and do the fan and lights. The talismoon fan was absolutely no problem, if anyone is thinking about buying one i recommend it.

I decided to do a chrome xbox controller and chrome case with blue leds.

I took off the rf board no problem and desoldered the leds by floating them away using llammas tutorial. Then i used a solder sucker and cleaned my contact points on the board. Then came the new leds.....

Hooking them up was a problem, i figured the Pos was the side furthest away from the number D1-4 well that's not true.

I looked around and saw a couple crappy paint drawings without the board in them so i figured i'd make a diagram.

So here it is


+ is common positive
- is green negative
o is red negative

These leds are so tiny it takes a lot of patience soldering them. If you sneeze you will lose them so be very careful with them. They are half the size of the original 3 color led.

This is the original picture, look how small those leds are compared to the dime.

u know u can buy the full size tri color led's from ebay for the RF Board
