looking for a little help in the right direction plz,i got a 360 console but when i turn it on it lights up and seems to work fine but i get no picture on the tv screen, ive got 2 hdtv cables and both work on my other console fine, but for some reason it doesnt show anything on this 1........any suggestions or help would be much appreciated,many thanks
its already set to hdtv matey, its on a working console already, thats what got me thinking its a problem with the console, thanks for the reply cheers
I had one do that EXACT same thing it ended up beeing a chip came loose from the board. basickly the same thing that usually causes the rrod(but not in my case). I did the heat gun trick and fixed it myself since the warrenty was voided. The only reason I mention this is because it took me forever to figure out what was wrong, does not mean you have the same problem!
But double check everything because it can be a setting or a bad cable.
Do you think maybe the console is set to a resolution the tv doesn't support? I had a friend once call me because he was getting a black picture on his Projection tv, come to find out the damn thing didn't support 720p it only supported 1080i...

hi matey,i thought all xboxes supported 720p,1080p,1080i, the tv thats its on is a samsung LCD and already have a elite console on it which works with hdmi and component, but this console will not work with the component lead! many thanks
