FFVII on FW 3.90m33-2

I'm in the process of obtaining the FFVII eboot(s) for my psp, but I've heard that even with poploader - it can't be played on a 3.90m33 psp.

Is this true?

I don't think so. I've played about 15 PSX games on my 3.80m33-5 and 3.90m33-3 and haven't noticed a difference in performance on either version. I don't see why a game that doesn't push the limits of the original PSX would have issues running on the PSP, especially the newest FW which can load older FW.

I have come across a few PSX games which do not work (for me at Least anyways) Dino Crisis is but one, Tomb Raider Chronicles another.

Pretty sure it is not me as i created the Eboots a variety of ways with a variety of programs. Same result each time.

I think some games just do not work on the PSP. Whether FFVii is one of those i do not know though
