Wii d2c Argon chip, unable to read disc....

I have a modded d2c wii with an argon chip. At first backed up games used to start playing fine when I burnt them at x4 with my lite-on burner and Verbatim dvd-r using nero. However, after sometime of playing the game would freeze. Now when I try to burn anything it gives me the unable to read screen, and loads nothing.

The odd thing is that I just burnt Guitar Hero 3 and it worked, but when I tried to burn wii sports it gave me the unable to read screen again.

I have no idea what to do anymore, any suggestions?

Could be a cold soldering joint. When the Wii heats up it becomes unstable and you can get read errors. After it cools down then it could work fine.

I would double check and resolder all points making sure they are good and stable. Check for bridges as well.

The only problem is that a friend of a friend did the install and I don't really have the tools, or the soldering experience to do it myself. Any chance someone here is located in the Atlanta area and could give it a look?
