im using upms v3 i follow this route- Step#1-Select the 'sleep fix Multi-IPL' option
Step#2-Backup your eeprom, then create Your battery
Step#3-Install UPMS with utilities (slowest)--there are no errors when installing but when i exit the upms v3 it will tell me it cant read the memory stick and i should go and format it so i remove the MS and BATTERY and put it on the psp holding R all the three light start flashing but the ultimate loader menu does not appear for a long time

The newest version of UPMS is v4 - get that and load the installer.

There is a option for UPMS to format & Partition the card. Format your card using UPMS but DO NOT format again via psp.

Re-install the IPL & try again. If that fails, do the above but install UPMS v4.
