Ok, I have had a look and am more than happy yo be pointed to a solution, but I have a very basic Noob question.
I've only been looking at this today and hope that I've made somecorrect calls :)
I could not find anyone local with a downgraded PSP, so bought a kit for what looks to me not much more than the cost of the battery and card.
So when I get my PSP working with CFW and want to play my backup .ISO's, what exactly is the procedure regarding the memory cards?
Do I need to copy all of the utilities AND the backup .ISO's to one card, or do I boot the PSP from the magic memory stick, then insert a card with the .ISO's on to play them?
Originally posted by Dr1ver: nope once you have cfw all you need to do is put the iso or cso file into the iso folder in the root of the memory stick
e.g
x:\iso\isoandcsohere.iso where x is the psp drive
hope that helps
Thanks for the quick reply, but I'm still a little confused D'oh.
When I have done the downgrade, am I right in thinking that the PSP boots from the memory card not it's internal memory?
If it boots from internal memory, then the .ISOs can all go on one big card which will stay in the PSP, however if the PSP boots from the card then I guess unless I swap, the card will need the .ISO and the boot firmware on it.
I'm sure it will all be clear when I have the things in my fat sweaty paws :)
the cfw will boot from the flash0 like normal fw so just format the memory stick after pandoras battery and then put the isos in the iso folder also csos go there to

Cheers Dr1ver, I think I get it now, I just need to wait for it to be delivered. :)
