I replaced the thermal with artic silver 5 thermal and did the penny trick and put washers under the clamps...and now the xbox360 powers up into the 3 red lights and in about 3 seconds turns into 2 (overheating) after that..anyone heard of this?

Never heard of this? Why did you replace the thermal gel?

i originaly had the 3 red lights for 6 months before actually trying to fix my xbox360 today...and that was the first option to try..and that didn't work originally so i added the penny trcik and that was my results..
