Was wondering if anyone could help me. For some reason, when I start the program and try to do a hotswap, the program doesnt recognize the media. I checked with nero and it sees it so it's not a broken cd or my dvd burner that don't see the media. I have the lastest FW installed

Any ideas?

I found out you have to use a DVD with more used space than your original xbox game and not an empty media.. I been able to run the program but encountering a new problem. For some reason, when I dump the file directly, i'm getting an error. I found a video on youtube that says to change the 3rd line from copy to dummy which I did but I get another error when I do so. It says that I don't have enough free space when i'm on the last copy line which is not true. I am copying the iso on a drive that has over 20gig of free space.

Any idea?

i agree with comment above, even though it is not much help to your current problem. Buying a Samsung drive flahed with Kreon firmware may cost youu a little up front. But the money you save on aspirin will make it pay for itself. The WXripper method is old and outdated not to mention a complete pain in the butt.
here are the current models you can search fo on Ebay depending on if you have an IDE or SATA connection in your PC. You will also need enough space to have two drives installed, this one and your burner.
sh-d162d (IDE) and the sh-d163b (SATA)
